Below you will find details about our NEW 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Point Loma Fireworks Observatory! 

This perfect pad in Point Loma by Ocean Beach is great for families and friends. Three full bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with large living space and sleeper sofa can accommodate 8 guests total. ATTENTION: This property lies under the San Diego International Airport flight path and jets can be heard overhead often.

The open living space offers a fully equipped kitchen, bar seating for 4-5 guests, cozy lounging by the TV and WORKING fireplace with two sleeper sofas that convert into twin beds, dining table for 4-6, and view of the the night sky show! PLEASE NOTE: The firework shows at SeaWorld and around the holidays are set to a schedule. Contact us to find out when to plan to capture the display!

Room for the whole family and friends for a BBQ in the backyard with a spectacular light show! The communal backyard space offers a large grill and smaller bbq, fire pit, dining table for 4 and additional seating. There's room for games and fun amongst the lush foliage and covered space. Please note: the backyard is shared with tenants of the other property units, A-D.

The private patio from the living room offers an additional view of the night sky and a beautiful coastal breeze! Behind the patio is the first guest bedroom, adjacent from the kitchen. The guest bedroom has a full size bed, dress and large mirrored closet for storage. There are nightstands, ample natural light and a sweet private patio!

Next to the first guest bedroom is the shared bathroom. The full bathroom has a shower/tub combo and vanity with storage space.

Down the hallway to the left and right are the remaining bedrooms. To the right is the second guest bedroom. This room contains a queen size bed, mirrored closet, dresser, nightstands and private patio! There is also an in-suite full bathroom with shower/tub combo and vanity.

Across the way is the master bedroom. This room has a queen size bed, closet and dresser storage and TV with Roku.

The condo has central heat and air conditioning! Plus portable fans.

Beach accessories such as beach chairs and boogie boards can be found in the guest patio closet.

The property lot contains parking for tenants and guests of the four units. Guests of unit B have two reserved parking spaces. Additional parking can be found on the street in front of the home. From the parking lot there is a side gate to an alleyway with access to all units. Apartment B is located up the first stairwell on the right. Please note: There are about 15 steps to the unit and 5-8 from the parking lot.

This convenient location is less than 2 miles east from Ocean Beach access, less than 2 miles northeast of Sunset Cliffs, and less than 2 miles west of Liberty Station in Point Loma. This area has tons of great restaurants, wine bar, movie theater, markets, coffee shops, lush lawns and lovely bayside path great for strolling, biking and blading. The Sunset Cliffs park includes carved coastal bluffs, arches and sea caves. From the cliffs, the California gray whale can be seen from December through February on their annual migration from the Bering Sea to Baja California. The park is a popular place to view the sunset, hence the name, so try not to miss them!

You are just over a mile from Ocean Beach Pier with its numerous antique stores on Newport Ave and the delightful Wednesday afternoon (4-8pm) Farmers Market. Think of it as a fresh-air grocery store with a focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, spreads, baked goods, honey, kombucha, flowers and more! There are a handful of artisan food vendors providing to-go food, to take home and enjoy with your view! 

Stretching out a bit farther, you are only a few miles from SeaWorld, from Old Town, to Cabrillo National Monument with it’s amazing Visitor Center and Lighthouse museum, from Waterfront Park with all it’s floating museums, and just 7 miles from the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and the world famous San Diego Zoo in lovely Balboa Park. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer along with the best weather in the nation!

Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed and anyway, it’s usually an upgrade when something is changed.)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. 6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day. 
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!  

Summer 2024 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy. 

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season. 
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
