Bring the whole crew for a getaway at our Point Loma Paradise!

Located off Nimitz Blvd, in eastern OB, this home provides all you and your family could need for a stay at the beach. Sleeps eight guests total, in three bedrooms with a full size sleeper sofa. One bedroom and full bathroom are located on the ground floor. The bedroom has a queen size bed, ample dresser and closet storage, and entry to the side patio space. The full bathroom just outside the bedroom contains a step-in shower. The kitchen, living and dining spaces flow through the bottom floor of the home leading from the front door to the side patio and into the large backyard. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa, extra cushions for family movie or game night, large 55" smart TV with Roku and streaming, and indoor gas fireplace for cozy nights in. The dining room has a table that extends to fit six guests. Additional dining chairs can be found in the hallway closet, along with cleaning equipment and beach accessories. A breakfast bar for two at one end of the kitchen, with the farmhouse kitchen door to the side patio at the other. The fully equipped kitchen has all you could need for meals at home, whether it's a celebration, holiday, or family feast, this property has all cooking and baking essentials. Along the lengthy countertop is a dishwasher, oven, stove, sink and microwave with a large refrigerator just adjacent with water and ice dispenser. Lots of cupboard and drawer storage too!

Preparing a feast? Prep in the kitchen and exit directly into the patio and backyard area through the kitchen to grill or BBQ for a meal under the stars. The backyard is an entertainer's paradise! Dining table for 4 with 5 additional patio chairs, large grill and additional bbq, large umbrella for plenty of shade amongst the vibrant foliage. Relax and take in the sweet, sea breeze while the kids play! (Please note: the backyard space is communal, shared with tenants of the other homes on this lot)

Back toward the front door is the staircase to the second floor. The additional two bedrooms and bathrooms are up the stairs, including the stackable washer and dryer. 

The guest bedroom to the left, also known as the "kid's room," is perfect for just that! Foosball table, fuzzy bean bag chairs, full and twin size bunk bed, 40" smart TV for movies or games, closet space and in-suite full bathroom. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo. A large ceiling fan helps keep the playtime cool, and you can see the backyard fun from above through the bedroom window.

Along the hallway shelves you will find several board games. Take your pick from Scrabble, Apples to Apples Junior, Puzzles, Cranium, and even some books!

The master bedroom faces west which invites a refreshing beach breeze through the balcony door. A perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee before starting the day! The master has a queen bed, large closet and dresser, 42" smart TV with Roku and full, in-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo with adjustable hand-held shower head. The room has a large ceiling fan to help circulate the coastal air.

The lot contains parking for tenants and guests of the four units. Guests of unit D have two reserved parking spaces. Additional parking can be found on the street in front of the home.

Please note: this property lies under the San Diego International Airport flight path and jets can be heard overhead often.

This convenient location is less than 2 miles east from Ocean Beach access, less than 2 miles northeast of Sunset Cliffs, and less than 2 miles west of Liberty Station in Point Loma. This area has tons of great restaurants, wine bar, movie theater, markets, coffee shops, lush lawns and lovely bayside path great for strolling, biking and blading. The Sunset Cliffs park includes carved coastal bluffs, arches and sea caves. From the cliffs, the California gray whale can be seen from December through February on their annual migration from the Bering Sea to Baja California. The park is a popular place to view the sunset, hence the name, so try not to miss them!

You are just over a mile from Ocean Beach Pier with its numerous antique stores on Newport Ave and the delightful Wednesday afternoon (4-8pm) Farmers Market. Think of it as a fresh-air grocery store with a focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, spreads, baked goods, honey, kombucha, flowers and more! There are a handful of artisan food vendors providing to-go food, to take home and enjoy with your view! 

Stretching out a bit farther, you are only a few miles from SeaWorld, from Old Town, to Cabrillo National Monument with it’s amazing Visitor Center and Lighthouse museum, from Waterfront Park with all it’s floating museums, and just 7 miles from the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and the world famous San Diego Zoo in lovely Balboa Park. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer along with the best weather in the nation!

Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed and anyway, it’s usually an upgrade when something is changed.)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. 6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day. 
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!  

Summer 2024 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy. 

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season. 
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.

Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)

We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season. 
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.

Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call! 

Pet Policy: This property DOES NOT permit pets.
 
Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking! 

Age Policy: We do not typically rent to guests under the age of 25 or large parties. Please contact us prior to booking to see how we may accommodate your group.
