Below you will find details about our 2 bed/ 2 bath condo, Cozy Cove by the Beach, located in the Ocean Point Vacation Rentals complex on the boardwalk in Pacific Beach.
Step into this one of a kind, blissful and bright beach retreat! Open living space and minimalist decor invite you to relax and take in the stunning views from this third floor oceanfront unit. Designed to flow like the waves of the ocean, this beach home is perfectly equipped for all you need to enjoy a truly tranquil holiday.
The clean and modern, fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need for meals at home. Enjoy breakfast with family and friends with the sunrise surfers riding just outside the living room and master bedroom windows. Microwave, toaster, electric stove top, oven, standard coffee maker, and distinct cookware and utensils are available with a dining table for 5 guests (6 if you pull over the desk chair). Also included, brand new stainless steel LG appliances, like the refrigerator with ample storage space and water/ice dispenser. Plenty of space in the panty, cupboards and drawers will help you feel right at home when stocked with your favorites.
Next to the kitchen is a work space for your convenience. Connect to the free, fast, private unit Wifi and choose to work from home or continue education with the sound of soothing ocean waves.
The open living space invites family and friends to relax on the sofa while enjoying beach and boardwalk views, or your favorite streaming show. Please note: Both master bedroom and living room TVs have smart capabilities but require guest credentials to access streaming such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. The condo has a basic cable package as well. The sofa pulls out easily to a queen-size bed. Additional comforters, sheets and pillows can be found in the trunk space under the right side of the sofa. Gather around the coffee table for a cozy, game night in! You will find games in the beautiful foyer sideboard.
Both bedrooms are light and spacious with ample closet and dresser storage. The master bedroom has ocean views with a king size bed, smart TV, and in-suite bathroom. The large closets in the bedroom contain portable fans, hangers, 2 laundry hampers, a portable a/c unit (available for rent only), and shelving space.
The in-suite master bathroom also contains an additional closet with extra towels and linens and luggage space. The master bathroom is a delight - spacious, dual vanity with plenty of cupboard and drawer storage. Overhead dimmable lighting, perfect for setting the mood for a relaxing bath in the shower/tub combo. The shower-head is hand-held which can be pretty helpful for bath time with kids! (Speaking of kids, this home has games, beach accessories, baby equipment (for rent only) and even plastic, colorful dishware just for your little mates)
Beach accessories such as beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels and blanket, and boogie boards can be found in the large guest bedroom closet.
Past the front entryway to the back of the unit is the guest bedroom and separate bathroom.
The guest bedroom is bright and fun with sunny decor! Both beds are twin-size, with a large sliding mirrored closet just adjacent. Inside you will find cleaning equipment such as vacuum, mop, broom and dust pan, an iron and ironing board, hangers, shelving space and everything for beach fun in the sun! An additional dresser is available for guests to use. Cleaning products may be found in the kitchen but guests are encouraged to purchase what they may need additionally.
In the separate full, guest bathroom is a walk-in shower. Please note: this shower has a step to get in. The shower-head is also hand-held. There is a spacious vanity, with drawer and cupboard space. Dimmable lighting available here too!
Additional amenities of the Ocean Point complex include a large coin operated laundry room in the garage where you can do all your laundry at once and save time. The condo building, including the garage, is secure and requires a key or remote garage door opener for entry. One designated parking space in the gated garage is included with the rental of this condo.
A communal pool and hot tub are available to guests and tenants with fob and code entry. Nearby, a communal grill is also available for guests to use. Ocean Point Vacation Rentals is located on the Pacific Beach boardwalk across from the Crystal Pier. On the ground level is the community pool and hot tub. There is also a lounging area, gas BBQ and each condo has an individual parking space in the underground parking garage. Surfers provide sunup to sundown entertainment from every room in the condo. Do not forget your camera to capture the picture-perfect sunsets!
The convenient location is 2 miles from SeaWorld, 3 miles from Old Town, and just 7-9 miles from the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and the world famous San Diego Zoo in lovely Balboa Park. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer along with the best weather in the nation!
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)
*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. We can provide a portable a/c for an additional fee, contingent on availability. Please contact us to reserve one in our limited inventory as soon as possible. Deliveries are scheduled 24 hours in advance.
Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.
While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. 6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.

Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.
Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.
To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.
This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.
Nightly Minimum Policy:
6 night minimum required in the off season. HOA Requirement.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
